Please join us for a fun, friendly & inspirational camp of a lifetime in the suburb of WANTIRNA. Close to home, but far enough to still be a weekend away! Located at the foohills of the Dandenong Ranges, just off Eastlink, it's only a 35 minute drive from Caulfield in good traffic.

6 sessions including a Saturday night dance party. Come to all of it, or come to some of it!

For FULL camp details please email  to receive a copy of the Camp Information, Registration & Pricing Form

OREN ASHKENAZI

Originally from Haifa, Israel, Oren now resides in Bern, Switzerland, with his wife, Lena, (also a talented choreographer), and young children Yarin & Oryana.
Oren trained as an Israeli Folk dance instructor and is a graduate of choreography studies and event production, with a Bachelor Degree (Education) and Master Degree(Arts in Education).
Oren is internationally renowned. Many of his dances have become firm favourites not only in our classes but all around the world. e.g. “Katonti”, Toda La’Olam and
“Chibuk Bechashecha”. Due to his popularity with both the dancers & dance leaders alike, Oren has been regularly invited to guest teach at camps in several countries in North & South America & throughout Europe. Oren's lively dance “Hora Shovava”, had the distinction of being the 1st prize winner at the Karmiel dance competition in 2006. Oren is an excellent & engaging teacher with a mischievous sense of humour. You will find him to be extremely amiable and inclusive. We know you will enjoy his very warm smile togetherwith his superb teaching methods. This will be Oren’s 2nd trip to Melbourne!

ELAD SHTAMER

Elad commenced dancing in Haifa at the tender age of 5 years, alongside his father Eli Shtamer’s (z”l), in Eli’s class in Haifa. Eli Shtamer was a fantastic role model for his son as he was highly regarded as one of the best teachers in Israel. Elad began teaching and choreographing dances when he was in his teens. Now in his early 30’s, multitalented Elad is currently leading 2 of the most successful sessions in Israel, a class in Ra’anana, and a nostalgia session in Kibbutz Givat Chaim, near Hadera. His circle dance "Ilan" (2010) sung by Yaakov Shwekey, has become a major hit around the world, as has “Et Lirkod” (2014), & one of his latest partner dances – “Zachiti”(2016).
He won 1st prize in the Karmiel dance competition in 2011 with his partner dance “Yesh Ba Mashehu”. Elad is a walking encyclopaedia when it comes to Israeli dancing. He is in great demand as a guest teacher at camps and workshops throughout the world. You will enjoy his incredible energy and his clear & accurate teaching style, as well as his great sense of humour. In their spare time, Elad & his wife Michal, enjoy also dancing salsa together. This will be Elad’s 3rd trip to Melbourne.
ZOOZ is very excited & thrilled to be hosting these 2 fantastic choreographers who we know will create great energy and a fun and inclusive atmosphere. Oren & Elad have been friends for years &  we know they will get a lot of enjoyment from working together, as will we!

ZOOZ has a unique method of teaching beginners. We succeed where others fail!  We have had OUTSTANDING results with so many of our dancers moving quickly up to advanced levels of circles & partner dancing. All our teachers are particularly dedicated, very experienced, friendly, nurturing & very patient.

You are very welcome to stay on, have a cup of tea or coffee & watch the next level after your class, or, if you would like a challenge & more accelerated learning, you may participate in the next class (LEVELS 2-3) which commences straight after the NEW beginners class! (except Tuesday mornings which is followed by LEVELS 4-6)

Please arrive a few minutes earlier for your 1st class to register your details. If it is a wet day, it is best to change into your dance shoes when you arrive at the hall.

There have been newspaper articles recently which states that physical activity is so important to prevent coronary artery disease, stroke, Type 2 diabetes, breast cancer & colon cancer.Studies have also shown that intensive exercising could reverse the early stages of dementia. Many studies have proven that DANCING is the BEST form of exercise to prevent Alzheimer’s Disease!

Walking around the park & going to the gym do not have the same benefits! You are not exercising your brain! :) Check out this link: http://zoozdancing.com.au/zd1/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=35&Itemid=2

All the ZOOZ Teachers & Staff are looking forward to welcoming you to our classes & having many, many, fun times together in the future!
