ZOOZ WORKSHOPS WITH OUR GUEST CHOREOGRAPHER/TEACHER - OFER ALFASI.
We are absolutely delighted & very excited to be hosting Ofer
Alfasi for a series of workshops. This will be Ofer’s very 1st trip to
Australia. He hails from a very famous family of dancers/choreographers
in Israel. He is an exceptional teacher (his English is excellent
too), with a warm, bubbly personality. Ofer has been invited to many
workshops throughout the world & is certainly leaving his mark as
many dancers have requested his return! I have personally attended
several of his dance sessions in Israel & I was VERY impressed by
his teaching & dancing ability. One of the best in Israel. I am sure

ZOOZ PAUL ARBER Z'L & HADAR SHALGI Z'L MARATHON -
THURSDAY APRIL 17th from 8.00 pm - 2.00 am. (6 hours of dancing!!!) at Sacre Coeur College, 172 Burke Rd. Glen Iris.
This is only a 5 minute drive from our St John’s hall in Finch St East Malvern. There is plenty of parking inside the school grounds.
This Marathon is dedicated to our beloved son & Belinda’s brother, Paul Arber Z’l, who most of you know, accidentally drowned in New Zealand in December 2013, & also Hadar Shalgi Shalom, Z’l, my best friend Ruti’s daughter, who tragically passed away in Barcelona exactly 1 year ago, after a freak accident, whilst on her honeymoon. Both of these 2 beautiful angels in heaven will always be remembered for their extra special qualities. They both motivated & inspired so many people & touched so many hearts………..
This will be our 2nd Annual Marathon. Last year’s was a great success thanks to the participation of many of our own dancers as well as dancing friends from the other Melbourne groups. We hope this year will be bigger & better still.
EVERYONE VERY WELCOME! ALL LEVELS - from BEGINNERS to ADVANCED!
Since there won’t be any dancing on Monday 14th April or Tues 15th April because of Passover, this is your chance to get plenty of dancing in. Make sure you tell your dancing friends, or forward my email. I only have email addresses of people who have requested to be put on my mailing list. Also, occasionally I may not be informed when there has been a change of email address of someone who was registered with us, so the emails bounce.
As it is Good Friday the next day, on 18th April, you don’t need to worry about getting up early for work! You can stay up late & DANCE!
Requests are very welcome from everyone - please email me in advance, the name/s of the dances you would like to have played, & we will try to ensure that they are danced whilst you are present!!
COST - $12 - FULL EVENING; only $8 for BEGINNERS (including supper - Kosher l’Pesach)
- $ 8 - IF ARRIVE AFTER 11 PM (including supper)
We would be pleased to accept any contribution you would like to make to help us fund an annual tennis scholarship that we are setting up in Paul’s name. A dancing scholarship has already been set up in Israel, in Hadar’s honour.
