1. ZOOZ BIRTHDAY PARTY

On behalf of all the ZOOZ staff,  thank you to so many of our dancers and our good friends, for joining us in celebrating ZOOZ's 4th Birthday last Thursday night! It was a fantastic night, a very large crowd. The biggest and best party we have had so far. Delighted to report that it was enjoyed by all levels. We have had simply wonderful feedback. Thanks to all those who helped us decorate and to clean up afterwards. It was very much appreciated.

4 years has simply flown by since our humble beginnings with just one small day class.  We now have 7 classes (day and evening) and we cater for new beginners through to advanced levels. Of course, we specialise in teaching beginners, using Richelle's unique teaching methods, and the results speak for themselves - our advanced level dancers (less than 4 yrs experience) are TRULY advanced in their ability to learn new dances. They are able to learn just as quickly as those dancers with many, many more years of experience!! All the ZOOZ teachers are very proud of youl!

 All the staff of ZOOZ have enjoyed every minute of the past 4 years and we all thank YOU for your incredible support from the bottom of our hearts.  YOU make all the effort  worthwhile.......

2.  CAMP 2010

Those of you who were at the party may have heard me announce the proposed change in the dates of the camp for next year, which was at the time only 95% confirmed! It is now definite!!

We are changing the date for next year's camp to :-

 Friday April 23rd to Sunday April 25th, 2010.   This is one week earlier.

Please make a note in your diaries to ensure you keep this weekend free for an unforgettable experience!

We are thrilled to advise that there will also be special workshops with the choreographers in Melbourne.

The camp will still be in Rosebud - just over an hour's drive from Caulfield. We will notify you when registration forms will be available. More details will be available soon.

In case you had not heard or read about it, next year ZOOZ will be hosting 2 very famous and talented choreographers - Avi Levy (from Israel) &, Moshe Eskayo (from New York). We love their dances!!  We will also be lucky enough to enjoy the talents of Eileen Weinstock, (from New York) a superb teacher & dancer.....one of the best!

This is our very first camp with any choreographer/s.

You would have to pay thousands of dollars to see these people at overseas dance camps. ZOOZ will be bringing them to you at a very affordable price!!  Stay tuned!!

3. CLASS CANCELLATIONS:-

Please note:

1. The Saturday afternoon class on 20th September will be cancelled due to Rosh Hashana - Jewish New Year.

2.  The Monday evening  (women only) class, will be cancelled on Monday 28th September - because of Yom Kippur.

4. OTHER BIRTHDAYS CELEBRATIONS: 

A couple of weeks ago, on a Thurday night, we celebrated the birthdays of 2 of our ZOOZ teachers, Cindy & Marsha, together with one of our very loyal dancers, Caryn, who all have birthdays in close proximity.  Another 2 of our dancers (Annette L & Jerry D) who also have birthdays on the same days, were not able to be there that night.

That evening, another one of Cindy's fantasies came true .....well ...almost!!

Cindy apparently always wanted to indulge in mud wrestling! Unfortunately, the rain had stopped the day before, and there was no mud to be seen in the park, so the next best thing.....chocolate of course!! Jack was a very good sport and allowed himself to once again be the fall guy!!  (Remember a couple of years ago, Cindy's previous fantasy was about throwing a cream pie in someone's face, and Jack was good enough to have obliged back then!) I have attached a few photos to share with you of this momentous occasion!! We were trying very hard not to get any chocolate on the floor so that we could continue dancing. We had great fun that night!
