Our Yom Ha'atzmaut Party held on Thurs 4^th May was a fabulous celebration of Israel's 58^th birthday for all who attended. The room was filled with enthusiasm, ruach and energy as we danced to latest hits as well as all the classic dances relating to Eretz Israel (Land of Israel) and Peace. The line dance ‘Shir La Shalom' was introduced to suit the occasion and we enjoyed a superb supper of fresh, homemade Israeli salad, hot felafel, pita and dips along with cakes and nushies. The hall had never looked better - filled with blue and white balloons, Israeli flag banners and a stand of 6 very large, real-deal Israeli flags.
